November 20th, 2020These are additional classes for groundwater gleys that may be nationally of localised occurrence and we can use them where appropriate in addition to the master types. Phosphate is the dominant issue. Nitrate delivery may occur sometimes, whilst generally it is expected that denitrification and N gas emission from wet soils would limit the amount of nitrate that could leach to groundwater.
